The Asbury Park Dance Festival (APDF) offers two FREE dance workshops on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in partnership with the School of Nimbus Dance: Summit, New Jersey. Designed for intermediate and advanced dancers ages 13+, the classes offer focused, high-quality training experiences led by accomplished artists and remove financial barriers to participation and encourage creativity and connection through movement.
APDF's frree workshops are made possible by generous support from John and Jody Arnhold and Monmouth Arts. Attendees have the opportunity to take part in a Contemporary class from 10:00-11:30AM led by NYC-based dancer and choreographer, Brandon Coleman, and a Graham-based class from 12:00-1:30PM with Anne Souder, current leading dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company. Both classes will conclude with time for conversation between the teaching artists and students providing an opportunity to exchange ideas and build community.
Registration is recommended but not required to attend.
AP DANCE FESTIVAL is a 501(c)3 organization committed to supporting ARTS EDUCATION ADVOCACY through performances and educational initiatives.
