Adult Open Class at Nimbus: Int/Adv Ballet with Yinet Fernandez

Yinet Fernandez's journey in ballet began at the Alejo Carpentier National School of Ballet in Havana, Cuba, where she trained under some of the most respected names in Cuban ballet tradition. Upon graduating in 2008, she joined the legendary National Ballet of Cuba, performing principal works including Swan Lake, Giselle, Coppelia, Don Quixote, and Romeo and Juliet under the artistic vision of the incomparable Alicia Alonso. In 2016, she brought that extraordinary Cuban classical foundation to New York, joining Dance Theater of Harlem, where she has performed works by Balanchine, Christopher Wheeldon, Nacho Duato, Ulysses Dove, and William Forsythe — one of the most creatively diverse repertoires in American ballet today. She is also an ABT® Certified Teacher, bringing a rigorous and internationally recognized pedagogical standard to everything she does in the studio.

Now she's bringing all of that to Saturday mornings in Jersey City.
