On January 27, the world commemorates International Holocaust Remembrance Day and as a part of the weekend of that remembrance, choreographer and master teacher Carolyn Dorfman and her dance company take audiences on a powerful historical and cultural journey through her celebrated work The Legacy Project. A child of Holocaust survivors, Dorfman through her work honors her Eastern European roots, explores the tragedy of the Holocaust, and tells the story of the immigrant experience. The program will be featured on Sunday, January 28 at 4:00 p.m. and then again on Monday, January 29, in a school time performance at 10:30. For more information on these two shows at the Wilkins Theatre on the campus of Kean University, 1000 Morris Avenue in Union, and to order tickets, visit www.keanstage.com/events/carolyn-dorfman-dance/ or call the box office at 908-737-7469.
