Join us for Dance Innovations Performance Foundation's original non-traditional Nutcracker “The Nutcracker’s Twisty Tale” !It’s Christmas Eve once again, and Clara is swept into another magical adventure when her Godfather Drosselmeyer gifts her a special Nutcracker, and her and her friends beautiful mirrors. As midnight strikes, the Nutcracker Prince returns, and together they face new challenges — including the icy Snow Queen, whose enchanted mirror has cast a spell over the Land of Sweets.
With help from the Mouse Queen and the Sugar Plum Fairy, Clara’s courage and kindness restore warmth and joy to the frozen land. The curse is lifted, the Snow Queen’s heart is thawed, and the spirit of the holidays shines once more.
Clara awakens by the fire, her Nutcracker beside her, wondering if it was all a dream — or the true magic of Christmas.
There will be TWO performances: 2:30pm and 6:00pm
**This benefit performance is in support of our Kids for Kids Scholarship fund, providing scholarships for children and young adults with disabilities for pursuing the arts. Ticket funds, and funds from a silent auction that will be held during intermission of both shows will go towards these scholarships. **
