Call for Student Performing Groups at NJPAC's Ailey Day!

DANCE NEW JERSEY is delighted to partner with NJPAC again this year for their annual AILEY DAY event on Saturday, April 11, 2026. This year, performances will take place inside the Villa Victoria Theater at NJPAC, and we invite student groups to submit works for this shared performance event. 

Student performers must be available to participate in Ailey Day's morning workshops (free of cost), with the performance scheduled to take place in the early afternoon. A finalized schedule will be shared closer to the event.

Important Info:

• We are looking to supplement NJPAC'S roster with up to five student performing groups from the DNJ community
• Pieces must be five minutes or less  
• All applicants must be members of Dance New Jersey or hold dual memberships with NDEO
• Performers must participate in Ailey Day's morning workshops, which are free of cost

Applications must be submitted by Monday, March 9th. A DNJ representative will be in touch with status updates by March 20th.
