INNER CITY ENSEMBLE SEEKS DANCERS FOR FALL 2026

The Inner City Ensemble Inc, a youth arts nonprofit, seeks professional dancers (and a teaching artist) for September to December 2026 events. Wednesdays (3:30PM – 5PM) and Saturdays (10AM – 2PM) rehearsals begin mid-September at the Rosa L. Parks School of Fine & Performing Arts in Paterson, NJ. An opportunity is also available for a teaching artist to assist with a local middle-school program on Tuesdays and Thursdays (3:30PM - 5PM). English-Spanish speaker is preferable for the teaching artist work, and the position may be combined with company rehearsals and October - December events and performances. Executive Artistic Director, Nicholas Rodriguez, is an award-winning choreographer, Juilliard graduate and Fulbright Scholar, whose works address identity, social justice and immigration using dance, spoken work/text and original or pre-existing music. Working with youth and and BIPOC communities is part of the company's mission and creative process.

Please note: Depending on dancers hired, weekday rehearsals may occur in New York City. Saturday class/rehearsals will take place at the Rosa L. Parks School of Fine & Performing Arts 413 12th Ave., Paterson, NJ.
