Kennedy Dancers: Dance Scholarships

The Kennedy Dancers are excited to announce a dance scholarship opportunity, Inner City Youth Dance Training Program for young dancers aged 10-17 residing in New Jersey. This scholarship covers participation in a comprehensive 10-month dance program, running from September 2024 to June 2025.

Scholarship Opportunity for New Jersey Residents: Dance Classes for Ages 10-17

• Location: The Kennedy Dancers, 79 Central Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306
• Program Duration: 10 months (September 2024 – June 2025)
• Schedule Options: After School: 2 days a week, 4:30pm – 6:30pm OR
• Just Saturdays: 10:00am – 1:45pm

Program Details:

• Age Requirement: 10-17 years old
• Talent and Interest: Must have a demonstrated talent and interest in dance
• Commitment: Applicants must be committed to learning, practicing, and performing dance throughout the 10-month program
• Residency: Must be a resident of New Jersey. Applicants are required to provide proof of residency and copies of parents' or guardians' pay stubs.

Eligibility Criteria:

This scholarship is designed to support young dancers who are dedicated to advancing their skills and performing arts education. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that nurtures artistic growth and provides performance opportunities. Selected participants will benefit from professional training, exposure to diverse dance styles, and the chance to be part of a vibrant community of young artists.
