The 4th Annual FTS Movement Immersion navigates 4 days of analog documention within dance as a gateway to protect cultural knowledge. Within the rise of A.I. generated content and technology utilizing dance videos to train their systems, duplicate likeness and alter our artform, we are providing dance artists with the tools and hands on experience to preserve their own medium. Participants will experience capturing dance IN REAL TIME on film cameras, making their own sacred adornments for personal movement ceremonies, studying vinyl records, dancing as a form of record keeping and more!
This experience is brought to life by our staff of professional movement educators, renowned analog companies and sound bath facilitators that support our mission.
All Participants will have to opportunity to earn a scholarship as part of this shared journey!
