Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Studio Operations Coordinator who embodies warmth, organization, and enthusiasm. As the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the vibrant atmosphere of our studio. With your exceptional customer service skills and multitasking abilities, you’ll help ensure the smooth operation of our classes and events.
This is an ideal part-time opportunity for someone re-entering the workforce/wants some additional income and looking for evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Create a positive experience by warmly greeting students, families, and visitors, delivering exceptional service that reflects InSpira's values.
- Registration & Enrollment: Assist with class registrations, enrollments, and fee collections, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Inquiries & Communication: Respond to calls, emails, and questions about class schedules, tuition, and studio policies.
- Scheduling: Help manage class schedules, rehearsals, and studio rentals while promptly communicating changes.
- Payments: Accurately process payments, handle financial transactions, and maintain organized records.
- Studio Maintenance: Keep the front desk area tidy, restock supplies in the restroom, sweep dance floors, and ensure trash is emptied.
- Attendance Tracking: Monitor class attendance, collaborate with instructors, and address any attendance concerns.
- Instructor Support: Assist instructors with tasks like music playback, student check-ins, and preparation for classes.
- Safety & Security: Oversee studio entry, ensuring only authorized visitors have access.
- Conflict Resolution: Address minor issues and escalate more complex concerns to management.
- Promotions & Marketing: Support promotional events, marketing efforts, and social media updates.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle data entry, digital filing, and assist management with studio reports.
Qualifications:
- Some college experience (college graduates preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with an eye for detail.
- Tech-savvy, proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and email.
- Experience in customer service or front desk roles (preferred).
- Passion for dance or performing arts is a plus.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
Light lifting and moving of studio equipment.
Comfortable interacting with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

The hours are:
Monday - 4:30pm - 8:00pm and sometimes 9:00pm if we have people registered for the Drop in Xtreme Hip Hop Step Class
Tuesday - 4:30pm - 8:30pm
Wednesday - 4:30pm - 8:00pm
Thursday - 4:30pm - 7:00pm
Saturday - 9am - 11:30am
